North Devon - is there a more geologically tortuous coastline on earth? At Bude, the sedimentary strata run at 90 degrees to the beach, being mostly composed of weetabix interspersed with an occasional harder layer of digestive biscuit. If your stratum is at the right kind of angle you have a temporary rock climb that lasts until the next big storm.
